Dental Admission Test Practice Games

Here are some games that I have found that will help you hone your visual perceptual skills to do well on the Dental Admissions Test (DAT).

1. The Eyeballing Game- This game was designed for woodworkers, this game features angle discrimination, finding convergence of angles, midpoints, and more! This is a great game to help hone your skills for the angle ranking section of the Dental Admissions Test (DAT).

2. 3-D Object Viewer– This java application allows you to view various 3-D objects from different perspectives such as top, left, right, and bottom view. A great tool to practice for the top/front/end view of the Dental Admission Test (DAT).

3. Building Houses– This java application allows you to build 3-D objects using 3-D square blocks. This application is useful to create your own questions for the cube counting section of the Dental Admission Test (DAT).

4. Building Houses with side views- This java application game gives you the top/front/end view of a 3-D stack of cubes, using the top/front/end view you must create that stack of cubes. Great practice for the top/front/end view section of the Dental Admission Test (DAT).

5. Building with blocks– This java application allows you to 3-D objects using 3-D cubes. This application is useful to create your own questions for the cube counting section of the Dental Admission Test (DAT).

6. Coloring Sides 1- In this java application game you are given a 3-D object with one side painted. You must determine which side is painted in the top/front/left/right view. Great practice for the top/front/end view section of the Dental Admission Test (DAT).

7. Coloring Sides 2- In this java application game you are given the top/front/right/left side view of a 3-D object, and within that view one or more sides may be painted. You must determine which side is painted on the 3-D object. Great practice for the top/front/end view section of the Dental Admission Test (DAT).

8. Cube Houses Views– This java application gives you a 3-dimensional cube house structure. You must determine which view goes with the cube house, by choosing wither the top/front/left/right side view. Great practice for the top/front/end view section of the Dental Admission Test (DAT).

9. Interlocked– This game consists of a 3-D object that is locked in place, you must try and unlocked the 3-D object by pulling apart blocks. This game does not simulate the DAT, but helps sharpen your perceptual ability skills, here is the description from the website, “You know those puzzles consisting of a few wooden blocks that are impossible take apart? Then you know Interlocked. Each level, you’re given a unique 3D puzzle consisting of blocks that hold each other together. Take it apart and you’ll feel ten times as smart :-)”
